A background made of tiny glyphs: dots, crosses, rings and diamonds that get denser where the picture is darker. Move the cursor across it and it leaves a trail of beads that blooms and fades, like ink spreading on paper.
Use your own image or the built-in drifting pattern, choose a dark or light theme or let it follow the visitor, and tune the glyph family, cell size, contrast and trail. It draws on a single canvas, stays sharp on retina screens, and pauses when off screen.
